Measurements are 9 1/2" across the bag 11 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" deep. This is a very safe bag to carry on your back. The opening to the main compartment faces your back and can not be accessed by any one without you being able to feel it. As shown in the photo, the opening to the main compartment has a large zip around feature making it easy for you to get your items in and out of the bag. There is also an outside zippered pocket that touches your back, a great spot for your phone Inside is a zippered pocket as well. The outside pocket is roomy and deep and is kept closed by a magnetic snap tab. If you want to carry it on your shoulder just zip closed the strap and it becomes a single shoulder strap.
